Default Where does this go?

Installed new front hood struts last night. Had this part leftover. Came from somewhere on the passenger side. Can anyone tell me where it belongs?

I am not 100% certain but it looks like a piece that fits on the bottom side of hood not far from where the hinge attaches. The same piece is on both sides about 6 inches from the corner of the hood on the under side of it. It goes in from the side in about the location marked

John thanks for the reply you were very close. I went out and looked at the car and found the driver's side part. Goes next to end of the bulb seal by the fuse box. I must have knocked it loose when installing the strut. It was driving me nuts not knowing where it came from.
