Hi! I'm wondering if there is enough room for adjustment to get the car close to RS spec using these collars that provides up to 40mm of adjustment according to description.
Remove your springs, lower the car on its wheels with a jack to your ride height-40mm. Now lower the jack completely. How much more travel is available beyond your -40mm height? That's an easy way to know if you have available travel, or will be driving on your bump stops (most likely).
I understand that lowering the car too much will make it run into bump stops more often, but isn't it the same as running a lowering spring with a drop of ~40mm and trying to achieve RS spec high with OEM adjusters? (for reference this is speculated using B6 shocks)
Going back to the subject, could someone confirm if Bilstein B6 or Boge shocks provides enough space for these collars to extend ~35mm down the threads?

The front Bilstein HD shocks definitely will not....they have less threads than the OEM Boge shocks (assuming stock springs).
