RMS change. Trans only or engine/trans drop?

Great info all, especially John McM.
Looking at all of this info it seems I did install mine correctly even though I did not have the Porsche tool.
This was confirmed when I pulled my engine/trans again Saturday morning.
I was really pleased to find that my rms was dry, and that my leak was from an incorrectly fitted crankcase breather pipe. The oil was running down around the bell housing making it look like the rms. I just couldn't see it from up top with everything built up, I suppose I should have removed the airbox and maf etc to have a proper look. Doh!!!
Very relieved in one way, but feeling like a fool that I didn't spot it before dropping the
engine/trans.
Anyway very happy now she is all up and running sweet with zero leaks, and loving the difference of the lwf

The method for next time would be to attach the pipe to the breather neck before raising the engine, and then once in place it would be easy to secure the breather pipe at the other (top) end.
I sure did earn my stripes on this.
