And not everyone posts the details as they lurch from problem to problem. Talk to any 911 mechanic and they will have at least one story of a nightmare job that had an engine in and out more than twice.

i had a clutch start behaving weirdly on my RS, it was near new. Shop pulled trans. And well, they pulled that trans about a dozen times until the root cause was found, and yes, everything was replaced, a couple times. THREE bad NEW factory pressure plates. Bad batch or something... it's a running joke at the shop when I pop in there "uh hey Tony my clutch is doing some weird **** again!" lol

I am so sorry I am just reading this now.

I would have come down with my trailer to help you out. Unfortunately the state police are required to clear the lanes and damage to your car is not a concern to them.

You will be in good hands with Bodymotion.

Haha don't sweat it at all, although when I posted this I had you in mind! Really appreciate the thought though. Good to know I'm in safe hands

Heat? It's plastic! Hot water maybe and push from the backside and it may pop back in shape!

No matter what they try to do the spider cracks in the paint will always be there. The ROW center section will be very hard to repair.

Ugh, terrible. But Bodymotion is a great shop, they'll fix you up. Also they just became a Porsche certified collision center so you can get that bumper taken care of there as well and you'll know it's done right. Good luck!

Made it home, but not without a few hiccups. Definitely taking the car to my guy. According to bodymotion, my distributor cap was loose. Not sure how that's possible.. also they replaced the DME relay with an oem one, as they said the solid state one I bought off whatever Rennlist user is selling those was defective (anyone else experience this?). either way it ran well for 100 miles, then died again. Got it started after a few tries and over the course of the next 250 miles I babied it, with only a handful of stutters. Whatever is wrong it feels like a vacuum leak. Really it feels like boost leak with the way the car shudders.

As for the bumper, the paint will crack on the corner, and the euro center section is toast. Might as well replace both. Anyone know where I can source a right side bumper cap? I've only seen left sides for sale.

Thanks agin to those who offered help and made suggestions. Rennlist really is a great community

Anyone know where I can buy a new euro rs bumper center section and a right side bumper cover with exhaust cutout? Trying to move the process along with my insurance company

Sorry to hear the bad luck. In addition to FVD, who I like, the usual fiberglass places probably have something: gt-racing, getty, ma shaw. I'm sure that there are some others.
