Had ... barely, just barely enough material to do the rear "x". Notice the gussets at the bottom because it's really tough to get a quality weld on the underside so close to the floor pan!

In the basement, there was many a cool used & vintage car section. Only half were p-cars. Found 2 RUF 911s. This yellow one & a really nice blue one. Both had cages.
I'm 6 feet tall. Note: the pipe location so close to my head. This is a bolt on cage. Also note the dash bar. I tested contact, and my knee would strike it easily. Cool car but the cage is substandard.
Nice, Yea, That's why I ran the "Knee bar" behind the Dash.. Oh BTW I couldn't help it.. Every time I see this post I think this is what you originally meant.
