On the 88TS and 89T models, that little blue/blk check valve does not come off the brake booster hose connection shown in the picture above.

It comes off a 4 way rubber T off the intake manifold between the 3rd and 4th intake runner (where the KLR tube and FPR hose connect through banjo bolts).

On the late models, the plastic connection tube in the brake booster line is solid sided and does not have the small T nipple for the little vacuum line connection.

There are different levels of porting, balancing, and testing.

This intake flows A LOT more air than a stock intake. $500 is gets you a basic deal...

This intake made almost 25rwhp over what the stock intake did at the same boost level, same engine, on the dyno jet.

I'm probably going to the Milledge intake system, and this particular intake will be sold off.

Ahmet

I am. That doesn't mean I'm going to stop. When the right buyer comes along, I'll pass the torch, then move on to the next project. Until then... there's still a lot I want to accomplish with the 2.5 turbo.

What do you have planned to replace it?

Under the intake there are nuber of hoses that run from the front to the back by the oil fill. Anyone know what these are? It is kind of like a metal hose and rubber hose combo, welded together.

That sounds like the crankcase breather tubing. The intake end has a metal fitting that goes to the J boot. The other end does go the oil filler tube (which is also connected to the crankcase breather). That is the line that would go to the oil catch can if you have one.

I will shoot a pic later tonight. There is gunk in that line, thinking of replacing it.

I would suggest getting an oil catch can if you plan on reolacing it.
