Question Front Wheel noise & movement?

Hey guys I was wondering if you could help me diagnose this problem

When I make a right hand corner I hear a low grumbling almost rubbing and clunking sound in the drivers front wheel. I can also feel a little movement very faintly with my feet when this happens.

Also I jacked up the car and tried to move the wheel at the 9 and 3 oclock positions and I got a little movement as well as some noise and at the 12 and 6 oclock I got much less movement but still a very minor amount.

Does anyone know what this could be? Thanks for the help.

Sam do you think I can rule out the tie rod and ball joint too? At first I suspected the tie rod since I get movement at the 9 and 3. But I was thrown off when I got a very small amout at the 12 and 6.

How could it be the ball joint? ... referring to the noise.

While you're looking/checking, take a look at the bushings and condition of the aluminum A arms...
