Is the vertically-oriented spring on the throttle body, to the inside of the cam, called a throttle return spring?
The lower spring hook is attached to a fixed location on the TB, but the upper hook is attached to a lever that moves independent of the throttle butterfly. What is the purpose of this spring and moveable lever?
Almost centered in this photo [borrowed from another thread], you are looking down the barrel of the spring in question.
mel_t_vin ...There are two springs and they are both throttle return springs. They are configured as you describe but they function together when assembled.

Thanks, Bruce.
The spring I'm referring to runs left to right in your photo. Again, in your photo, the left [lower] end of the spring is attached to a fixed location on the TB, but the right [upper] end is attached to a lever that moves independent of, and is not fixed to, the throttle butterfly.
Do you know what the purpose of this moveable lever is?
