Sooner or later, or maybe you could talk someone into making a GTX3584R turbo. I.e put a the 84 compressor wheel on your turbo.
Pretty much how the GT2871R works or the GT3082R ect.

I'd only do that after i have Data though.

Pretty sure that's what GCG said they could do but they would have to machine mine to fit.

I gather they mean machine the compressor housing. I suppose the 0.72A/R housing from the GTX3584rs won't bolt straight up?

if it was me, I wouldn't touch the turbo until it's been on the dyno.
At the end of you day you could spend 2-3k on the turbo and gain 5hp out of it because you may not be at it's maximum efficiency range.

At least you've got a few options to look now at vs a few years ago.

Why would anyone want to fit an even larger compressor wheel to the GTX3582R when the GT35 1.06 housing already doesn't flow enough for this compressor wheel?
It would make sense to fit a larger turbine to the compressor of the GTX3582R, but not the other way around.

On engines likes Patrick's and Duke's, the GTX3584RS may be used with the 1.21 A/R turbine that flows ~35lbs/min housing if the "undersized" GT35 1.06 A/R housing can flow only ~32 lbs/min.

3lbs/min really make a huge difference? Serious question.

I was actually going to say that. But then thought - No, because the whole twin scroll thing.

They do make a lot of power.

My friend Fredric Aasbo is super happy with his FD setup.
