Before I do something stupid again, I need your opinions. Long story short: 1) I have coolant in cylinder #4 (seen with a diagnostic camera and totally wet spark plug), 2) there was coolant squirting on the exhaust manifold in front of cylinder #4 when the engine was running, it seemed to come from the cam housing gasket (in theory not possible, so from the exhaust gasket, maybe), and 3) there was coolant all around my cone filter, and the inside was wet. Before looking into the cylinders, I ran the turbo auxiliary coolant pump and saw no coolant leaking. Could it be that a head gasket failure created high pressure on coolant which then sprayed all around the coolant cap!? And the coolant squirting on the exhaust, where could it come from? What do you guys think?
Cylinder 4 is the most common ( in old age ) where we have seen coolant getting in due to old rotted head gasket , be it 944 , 944S,944S2,951,968
Just a head gasket
Once the cylinder head is is removed, check to make sure no 4 cylinder is not scored ( due to coolant ) washing the oil off the cylinder & engine running after head gasket failure
Get the head serviced ( machined / valve guides etc etc )

I have found the problem, see picture, and I will make my valved check. It was rebuilt not too long ago, btu I want to be on the safe side. Cylinder looks good!
While you are in there get one of Lindsey's steam vent kit. The vaunted Porsche engineers did a very poor job when they designed the water courses in the engine. Number 4 cylinder can develop a vapor lock in the circulating system. This leads to a disproportionate failure rate in the #4 cylinder due to overheating. The steam vent gives the steam a place to go.
