Shameless plug for a set of calipers from my 928S4 that I have on ebay. They are the next biggest before the "big blacks" on the GTS, which I am upgrading to. I think you guys can upgrade to these pretty easily? They come with some RS14 porterfields. 180 dollar set of pads.

I saw this earlier -- I'm glad to know that it's coming from a Rennlister rather than a random eBay ******! (Now if I can only locate some 951 hubs and spindles....)

What year 951 do they fit? I might be interested in them...mine is an 87.

You will have to buy some adapters from a vendor like Racer's Edge. I just bought these same calipers to upgrade my '88. Adapters and a pair of new OEM rotors will run ~$390 from RE.
FYI- I bought a pair of calipers and 4 sets of PF93 pads for $300 from a local Rennlister - $150 would be a steal

I just recieved an email on my yahoo account asking about what is needed for an 84 944. I searched a bit here, and found that with the early cars, (pre86) it would be hubs, spindles, struts (I don't know why you guys have to change the struts - oh, well, maybe to fit the spindle).
Then you have to get the adaptors from people like paragon, or some of your other suppliers (*its different with 928s - we have exactly three places*)....
But the S4s are a big pad. Big. I am going to the GTS calipers, which are even bigger. At 3500 pounds, I need all the help I can get. Many guys with S4s track them with these calipers, so they are good enough for 99% of us...
With your 3000 pound or 2800 pound cars, the S4s will be more then enough.

I sold them to a bidder off of ebay for 400 plus 10 bucks for shipping. Thanks for giving me a chance guys,
