Was blowing out the spare cylinder head I have with compressed air and this came out of the top (i.e. where the cam tower/lifters meet the top of the valves). I'm wondering what it is and where it come from. The head has been sitting in my garage for about a year now - trying to clean up & organize...

Edit: it's a little bigger than a dime in size, two holes on one side, and a metal spring/retainer in the other side.

Where does it go or come from? It does look vaguely familiar but I can't place it. Hole in the center and one to the side.

Edit: Yes, that's it! Rabbit ears plug off the hard coolant line from the head. Thanks Luis - rockin' it as always!
