Looking for opinions on which way I should go with the clutch in my latest engine build. I'll lay out the options and you guys can comment. I'd prefer to go with the S2 flywheel for simplicity... but can the smaller diameter clutch hold the big torque from a 3.0L turbo?

1. Turbo clutch that's on the current 2.5. This is a Fidanza flywheel with a clutchnet 6 puck disc with a Blaszak pressure plate. Pros: Lots of clamping force, light weight, I have all the parts already. Cons: I have to buy and rig up a 60-2 trigger wheel on the front of the engine. It's also a tricky clutch combo to drive with the sharp grab and light flywheel.

2. S2 Clutch. I have most of the stock parts, but would need a grippier disc and maybe a stronger pressure plate. Pros: Solves all the trigger wheel problems. Easier to drive. Cons: Less torque holding depending on disc.

I am also interested in this for my eventual supercharged 16v engine.
I intend to just keep using the NA clutch setup.

Have you considered the Lindsey mini push clutch?

If they had one with a trigger wheel and sensor setup like the S2 I would consider the minitwin, but if I'm going with a 951 clutch setup I'd stick with my current parts to save money.

Have you looked at the TTV Racing flywheel? It's 240mm like the turbo FW but it has 60-2 teeth around the circumference like the 225mm 16V FW. Cost is somewhere around $400-$500 but should accept all of your existing 951 clutch components. TTV 951 Flywheel

Would this be a drop in for a 16v? Ie are the teeth in the same place.
