Overboosting - did I shim too much?

Go to the Lindsey Racing Web site. They have a step by step procedure with pictures for bypassing the CV. Go to the 944 section, then look under wastegate for installation instructions.

Reliaboost is "SET" at whatever the hell your max boost is at the time. Not the way your thinking about it. Adjust it to a setting that actually gives you 15psi.

Oh and all you do to bypass the CV is run the reliaboost strait to the wastegate with a hose, rather then to that other nipple that its conected to now.

Booooooost

CV is now bypassed and I was getting 9psi, so the Reliaboost had to be wound back in 6 times and now I get a solid 15psi in 4th gear, just dropping back to 14psi after 5000 rpm
