Ignition timing on 11 lbs at the manifold?

Danno, I've heard it said many times that best power was on the threshold of detonation, so I wouldn't have thought that torque will drop off before detonation begins.

The best H/p #'s, are the ones that are available whenever you need them. As well as longevity. Danno's always correct. I would add, that the benefits of having a builder with current track motors helps. In so much as they don't use your motor to find out if the new valve springs they bought work as well as they do on paper. I hate that paper stuff. Cutting edge is crucial. In a measured approach, with large steps on a motor other than yours. 22 degrees advance @ 7000 and 20 lbs. boost. Conservative by most all standards, but so is the .82 lambda #'s. Can't show the Diablo SV dyno #'s.

I guess that's the point you were making.
