I think she finally quit (rebuild time)
I made a 1200 mile trip This week in my 88 and I started it up today and have major chatter from the head I am assuming lifters have collapsed. Got oil pressure but its extremely low 2bar max. The whole trip was fine with good oil pressure. but after she sat a day its not so good. I cant complain considering its 28 and had 150k on a never opened block

narrowed the problem down to an oil pickup tube broken.
a cheap fix but a PITA
I may put her up for sale soon cheap As I am deploying very soon and have nowhere to put her or time to fix before.

Its not that i cant replace the pickup tube myself more that my next duty station after i come off deployment is Korea. Its been on my mind to maybe sell being that the poor car would just sit in storage for the 3 years I stay in korea (which is a shame) and now that it needs some work I think thats sealed the deal for me.
Ill probably share the for sale ad in this forum in a bit The car holds 2 bar pressure right now and the lifters dont make noise. no oil light. So for the price im asking for her someone should be willing to steal and fix for a hell of a daily.
