Thanks guys! The red hazard switch came in today and the CS Wheel is scheduled for EOD Thursday delivery. I'll post pictures on Friday of both installed in the car. Can't wait.

Christmas in June!

968 CS Wheel and Red Hazard switch have arrived.

Wheel install was extremely straightforward. (Thanks for the video Dan)

Love the quality of this wheel. Amazing how different the driving experience is!

*If you look closely, I accidentally snapped the vents on the circular temperature sensor intake. Off to eBay I go...

Thank you! A month ago I went through the whole process of carefully adjusting both of the lights positions with all of the various pivot points. The image you are looking at is the best I could do. I noted that the black plastic housing is definitely the wrong size on the driver side and it's been driving me crazy. At some point the PO must have replaced it with the wrong cover and black housing which is causing the issue. I never really made the 944 NA connection but I think you just pointed me in the right direction.

I've been thinking of taking my car to a reputable body shop for some time. There's a few door dings I want to get taken care-of and potentially a front-end respray. Wonder if I should try to tackle this headlight problem myself or have them replace the parts.

Sorry off topic but what did you do with your inner fog lights? LEDs? Car looks killer!

Appreciate the kind words. Between the 944NA headlight cover and your question about the fog lights, I was starting to worry what else did the PO do to this car??

I ordered a replacement set of guards red headlight covers from eBay which will be here on Tuesday. After further research it looks like the fog lights are stock. Other google images show a similar white rectangle on the inner side. I think this affect is slightly exaggerated in the photo above. (see reference shot below)

As for the steering wheel I have some news. After driving the car for a week or so I just couldn't fall in love with the look. The original wheel is so "80's" and has that classic look that the light gray 968 CS lacks - it just looks out of place in terms of being period correct. I loved the way it felt but for $400+ couldn't hold onto it. Back in goes the stock wheel.

bmuldoon, thank you for your honesty re: steering wheel. i like the look of the CS but wasn't quite ready to "pull the trigger" as they say. i really like the stock wheel, so it stays put.

The CS steering wheel is light grey?!? I thought it was black, but it takes some time for the leather to "break-in" and get all deep and shiny.
