I love this, alot.
I love how much room it opens up, in front of the engine.
You could put a HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGE radiator fan in there...

I will be watching this as it develops...this could be "the answer" for those of us facing Smog tests.

I really like it, too. There are some impressive new 4 cylinder engines that have been developed in the past couple years. The Mercedes M133 in AMG CLA45, for example: 2 liter with 360 horsepower, integrated air-to-water intercooler, super compact. I love the 2.3 I4 in my RDX Turbo DD as well with variable timing, variable lift, variable turbo geometry; pretty much the works. It makes so much torque that the 3900 lb grocery getter is actually pretty fast.

I was there for their launch party on Saturday evening and shot that pic. Pretty sweet looking setup - will be interesting to see how it does on the track.

Makes me want to keep a 924s around just for this engine.

Sweet. I want to buy the bellhousing adapter and figure out what they're using for the clutch setup. I wonder what there 'patent pending' technology is though...this swap has been done before them.

Website says they use a thin adapter plate...which works on a 1.8T and that's how my friend did it in 2012. 07K has the cam gear housing that gets in the way of the bellhousing so the 944 bellhousing needs to be chopped significantly even with an adapter.

Their John Player Special looks absolutely stunning. Would love to get some info on what suspension and gearbox they are running. Looks like they are taking the 944 right into the 21st century.

That's a 996 rear suspension on the JP Special. The lower crossbeam and swaybar are missing tho.

Really like what these guys are doing! Having said that, they almost have a wish to retain older school mods in some of their builds. They seem to stick with KKK turbos and MAFs for upgrades. But love the fit and finish and appearance. Be good to find out some background on these guys and see why they're so into the 944.

Think they should be able to extract some more hp out of these Golf motors too. http://www.bing.com/videos/search?q=...AE&FORM=VRDGAR

VR6 will require a different adapter plate. And it's a boat anchor of a motor
