I have these same parts available. For the bearing housing that's apparently difficult to find, it wouldn't be very difficult to modify a non-968 bearing housing to locate the pin. Some care would need to be taken to not heat-warp the housing if welding on it.

I have a few housings I could donate if you would like to experiment and provide another awesome service to the comunity. One from an 86 I think, an 87 and an 89 2.7. I just want dibbs on purchasing the first one done. Voith is being mean by trumping my teasing, he can be second.

Are these parts for sale? How much do you want for them?

Too late for return, I already messed with those. They had liposuction surgery. https://rennlist.com/g/picture/4292150

This is interesting. The later pin design extended belt interval to 100.000km.

Guessing the revision was to include the dirt-proof o-rings.
You are sort of expected to clean and re-lube the pivot pin at the belt change interval - wheel bearing grease would probably do good here.

I'll just go with S2 spring powered tensioner. Seems like porsche used solid gold to mold these 968 parts.

Gentlemen,
Is the Plastic Nub available as a spare part????
Does anyone have the dimensions of the Nub and what is the material?
I could make it in aluminum or delrin.

Probably nylon in OEM fitment...I'd just use a plastic body rivet lol
