Take all of a minute and browse the other topic titles in the section - what other topic has the phrase "fuel rail" in it?

Ordered mine this morning (blue regulator). They said I was #8. BTW, I was looking next to the cruise controller and I'm not convinced it's gonna be an easy fit with the hoses and such. I know at least two of you are going to be getting custom hoses cut, any idea yet where you are going to mount your regulators?

Thanks!

I'm waiting for Dave to get back to me. He was going to play around with the regulator and lines to see where a good spot to mount it would be.

I'm thinking af fabricating a bracket, attaching it to the power steering reservoir supports and attaching the regulator to the bracket.

Thanks for the welcome guys.I am still learning this site so if I dont respond I probably dont know what I am doing. Please do not think I am being rude.Anyway I got the Fuel rail today. Looks fantastic I got the blue regulator.Looks a little tough to cut the return line because it is so close to the wheel well.I wish I could use a power cutting wheel.Anyway I will update you on my progress with it Plan to have it complete for Friday. Thanks Again.

You got it already?? Wow! Talk about prompt shipping and great service!

Sam

(BTW, and I just thought of this as I was going to click reply, this is NOT any veiled sarcasm and there is ZERO intent to bash other vendor(s) who don't ship promptly)

I'll say that's fast. We just got 10 yesterday!

Did you get the preassembled unit or DIY lines?

Billgot,

you can get compact pipe cutters about 1 Inch long from Autozone, they work well for cutting the steel fuel lines in enclosed areas. There are also some retaining clips that you can undo to give plenty of play in the fuel lines so you can work them as required. Of course it goes without saying- be careful with power cutting wheels and fuel lines. I originally cut away the crimp fittings with a dremel cutting disk, but I wouldnt use a power cutting tool to cut the hard lines.

Good luck with your install, I too am impressed to hear that you have the gear already.
