Folks,

I very much appreciate all the input so far--thank you for all the feedback. I will have to follow up on many of these points later this evening, but in the meantime, the car is a 1986 944 Turbo. All stock (no performance upgrades or anything).

Lart...you should use the DBA/LLC name, Resurrection Auto Sales, resurrecting porsche's since 1983.

It's more like this song. Poor car. You need to get it back from that shop before they try and charge you for storage. Sounds like their ripping you off already. And Lart is in no way going across the country for a car when there are a few left in SoCal. He's probably eyeballing V2rockets 951.

Oh no Larts Parts sucked all the 951's out of SoCal and is expanding his search! I hear there's some nice 951's over there in Arizona. V2 You had me fooled with that bumper, I see the N/A fenders now.

my fenders are 951 also...and apart from one tiny corner, na/turbo fenders are identical anyways...
