UPDATE - I finally got the replacement turbo installed, not a pleasant task. I thoroughly cleaned out the intercooler and it had quite a bit of metal powder in it. ,
The impeller must have been damaged for a while because it has NEVER pulled like this. At 13-15 psi it is breaking the tires loose in 2nd gear. Now I have a better understanding of how one is supposed to run.
