Default 1989 turbo cup car.

I just purchased a 944 turbo. This car was built for the director of Porsche racing in 1989. The car is well documented. Does anyone know anything about this car.

Have you contacted Porsche Cars North America?

I did that with mine when I bought it and got a letter on the history of my car. This included info right from when I was being manufactured.

Edit "It" was manufactured

That's a stunning car. I'm wondering if they shipped it with the hoop / bridge spoiler from the factory in '89? That'd be earlier than any other production car.

Or was it added later?

"Porsche Cars North America" when you get through to them just tell the person you are looking for histrory on your cars and give them the VIN number. They will put you through to the right person.

Just simply google "Porsche Cars North America" for the web site.
