My 86 951 needs a windshield I can get a sekurit locally for a good price part number 944 541 011 14 which is for 87 and up air bag cars, my car is "suppose to have" 944 541 011 11. Will the air bag windshield fit in my non-air bag car?

I don't see why it wouldn't but I can't confirm that

I think up to '86 windshield is little shorter (0.5") than the late one but someone more knowledgeable may chime in here.

I didn't know air bag cars had different windshields. I thought it was just whether or not it had an antenna in it (for all 85.5+).

Several different windshields were available for 85.5+ models. All factory models had antenna integrated

- non air bag version
- air bag version
-securiflex version, which had special plastic film installed onto drivers side of the glass. I have seen this type of glass at least with Japan sold 944's.
-cabriolet glass (shorter than coupe)

968 glass came without antenna, except cabriolet.

What's the difference between airbag and non-airbag glass? When I purchased my windshield (Pilkington) the only question I was asked was if the car is up to 87 or later.

Probably you are just fine. According to the information i got, all windshields available now are air bag versions.
