Pretty cool site of videos. Mostly Japaneese cars, but some Porsche stuff also.

The McLaren on board ride is cool. It gets up to 391 km/244 mph and the driver hands on the sterring wheel look dead solid. No shakes or anything.

Cool sites... The "Porsche_RUF_at_Nurburgring" vid is really cool. That guy was werk'n the ole 911.

The guy werk'n that 911 is none other than Stefan Roser, aka "Sideways" Stefan at Ruf. One of their top test/development drivers. A Euro car magazine a few years ago offered a ride with him around the Nurburgring as a winning prize in one of their contests. He did manage to destroy a fender on a Ruf that day as he blew a tire going sideways so much!

Ruf I believe still offers a videotape that contains this run in much better quality, but it's like $50. It's also got other stuff on it as well. Keep wanting to get it so I can see this in much better quality.

 

but no 944 turbo's, that sucks.

NONE Mc Laren F1 make over 330 km/h. The 370 km/h was a TEST drive at VW test place with a test car.
just take a look at the gearbox ratio and you will see why it can not do the 370 km/h with the stock tranny.
Also the 391 km/h on the Video are on the speedo.

Autocar recorded it at 241 + mph, which equals to 387 kph.

Even if does not manage above 330 kph, I'm in for a passenger ride please ...
