Default Good to have it back!

Been a while since I've posted here - just been busy with other stuff.... Hope all is good.

We moved last year to a lake house with much less garage space & I had to send my 951 over to my trusty mechanic, eniac for some necessary repairs (both rear axels) and winter storage in his welcoming and warm shop. A busy travel/work schedule meant that it stayed there until a few weeks ago & sat again for a couple of weeks in my garage.

Today I had some time to relax and take out a few of the cars for a good run... I can't explain how much I missed driving this car. Such a unique experience, yet still utterly Porsche. I drove it just after taking my 993tt for a run and didn't miss any seat of the pants thrill that the 993 has in spades. A well sorted/modified 951 is such a great car.

I also started to think about the difference in value between my 993tt and 951 given the recent spike in air cooled values. In comparison, a well sorted and modified 951 should be considered a relative bargain - they have such an amazing balance and the spool/wastegate/exhaust noises only add to the experience.

Great cars...

I can't imagine selling mine - such a great compliment to the 993tt and 67 911.

Loved my Azurite Blue 89 951. Your paint looks great, obviously well taken care of by the owner.

Great collection - if you have a picture from the other side with the 67 911, would love to see it too!

Thanks for the comments.

George - my 951 is Nile Green which does look blue/grey at certain angles.

Here's another couple of pictures of the 67:

Florescent lighting does tricks on picks, still beautiful cars, and neat color. Thanks for sharing.

Ha...! Sure - if you can find a weekend without construction/dogs/racing etc.... Summer is running out Jim - the invitation stands...

Just submitted plans for the new garage building for permitting too.
