$5500, 6 days to go. Vitesse stage 2 on there - the best out of box setup. Still enough piece parts to make healthy margin on total part out.

Fearless prediction: >= $23k when the gavel falls next week.

That would be a nice profit for the dealer. Reading the comments at on BAT it seems this car was purchased off of eBay 2 months ago for $9,100 (found via vin search). Also from reading the comments, doesn't sound like he's done anything to improve it in the 2 month period.

The paint is really poor on this car ....?
That might keep the price a bit lower ?

Best out of box - I should qualify that. The stage 2 was a really popular turbo, sort of occupying that hallowed middle ground of spooling like k26/6 and holding like k26/8 for the home gamer (like me) wishing to bolt on about 15 lbs of boost without too much tweaking. If I were walking into a 951 new, it's a pretty good setup to have. Of course stage 2 not avail anymore, giving it some extra value as it would get snatched up on the aftermarket within 15 minutes of posting

Edit: apologies, don't let me veer this off track from handicapping the auction. I recognize it's a popcorn moment sure to bring out the punchers, so let me walk the comment back a little and say it is a nice setup and adds some value to the car.

I'll apologize in advance for veering off track further.... but supposedly the Stage 2 is back. Another 951 owner in the area down here just ordered an S2r turbo last week from Vitesse and is waiting for it to arrive. Don't think it has hit the website yet. I'm very interested to see how his car feels (and kind of wish I had waited to put the t3/t4 on mine).

Reading the comments section on BaT is rather humorous. I have two 944 turbo's so loving these people who are willing to bid high!

Man I might have to put my 86' up for sale if that car is willing to bring almost $15k! Nice! Didn't he pay under 10k on eBay?
