Default FS - 1987 944 Turbo - 96k miles, Vitesse Stage 3R, LSD

UPDATE: I am now offering this car up for $11k FIRM. I will be back in the SF Bay Area on March 11th-21st and can meet with potential buyers. I have moved out of state, but will do my best to answer your questions. Best way to get in touch is email at dstupakov [at] gmail [dot] com.

Preference will be given to buyers who can pick up the car in person - I will not have time to deal with shipping arrangements while in CA.

If I don't sell before March 21st, the car will be shipped out to the mid-west and then parted.

Only trades I would be interested in would be for a clean 1994-2001 Toyota Land Cruiser with the locking diffs.

Unfortunately won't have the garage space or time to continue my project so I'm thinning the herd. Trying to sell everything as a package if possible. Overall great example of a well modified, low mileage (96,250) and desirable color combo late model 951. Big binder with nearly 50k in records. Very straight body, paint and interior a solid 7.5 out of 10. Dashboard is cracked. The car is running and driving but not California legal. Needs wiring work and someone good with a tuning laptop to finish the last mile. Out of state buyers should be able to register this car with no issues, but I couldn't pass California's NOx limits with the stealth setup, and couldn't pass visual with the Vitesse intake. The car has been driven about 15 miles in the past 3 years - so I can't speak to its reliability at this point.

I had an awesome time owning this car and it ran great while I was still driving it. Pulls 18-19 in/hg of vacuum at warm idle. Will break the rear tires loose and throw flames at 15psi (I never ran it higher than that).

Located in Cupertino, CA. Asking $11,000 FIRM

You can find more photos HERE.

Factory Build Sheet:

The not so good:
- It does not pass California smog currently. Registered as non-op. A new catalytic converter or tuning to E85 could get it to pass.
- My tune with the Vitesse is not perfect. Included are all the Vitesse Manuals + software.
- The Vitesse piggyback wiring was not done very well. It should be re-done. I have DTM connectors and have the wiring diagram for the piggyback / wideband / map sensor harness.
- The lower balance shaft is leaking oil.
- The back of the cam tower is leaking a bit of oil onto the headers.
- The front speakers are currently not installed.
- The caster block bushing on the drivers side is cracked.
- One of the sunroof gears is stripped.

Do you require kidneys at the time of the exchange or can we future date the return payment somehow. Like when I'm 90, for example
