Default LC-1 location on TT?

I want to attach LC-1 box to torque tube, just behind the wastegate clamp and route wires through shifter boot. Is this a good idea or TT gets really hot during drive? I was thinking about area under the radio but I don't have enough space there - I still have original audio (equalizer and radio).

Best place for the LC-1 would be in the passenger foot well, with the other electronics.

My LC-1 sits behind the intake and up through the firewall. I know Chris White posted about running 02 sensors up the way you want to route it. Not sure if he did it with an LC-1

Under the radio, through the shifter opening around the torque tube

I finally routed it along vapor pipe on firewall and through engine harness boot to footwell area. It looks very neat and almost invisible. I'm still not sure if I can attach the box with electronics to TT or I should look for another location, like bellhousing? TT is very convenient but if it is going to fry it I will look for something other.

Never worked well out of the box. Kept giving error codes or not working at all, showed inaccurate readings (was in one bank of a V8 with an AEM in the other). Some people solve it by adding a heat sink but I bought another AEM UEGO (which I've had about 5 of with no problems) and never looked back after the LC1 went in the trash. After I bought it and had problems I did some searching and there's lots of people out there with the same feelings/experience.

Also went through 3 or 4 sensors in 6 years because of codes.

This is what I did, I hope I won't regret it. Easy to reach in case I need to replace or calibrate the sensor but deep enough to hide from water and stones.

That’s where I have had my LC-1 mounted for the past +5 years. The cables are routed through a hole I drilled (and sealed with silicone) at the edge of the tunnel and passenger foot-well for easy routing to the electronics in the DME/KLA area.

Good to hear that it worked for someone else. I routed my cables under the aluminum heat shield almost all the way to the engine harness boot. They are well protected and invisible. I'm really happy with the outcome here.
