Here are a couple of pics Scott has sent me previously of the P/house one.

By the looks of it, It's the stock runners cut down with new plenum?

Yes, that's basically it... It seems to sit somewhere between the stock intake manifold and the SFR one both in terms of runner length and plenum volume.

I've attached some more photos plus one of the inside of the SFR manifold.

that looks pretty sweet, i am contemplating modifying a manifold i have to look something like that.
would you mind measuring the width of the whole manifold, from head flange to the throttle cable mount?
would you sell that ?

Hmm... difficult to measure 3D objects...

If I position the intake so that the flanges are flush with one surface and the throttle cable mount is flush with a perpendicular surface, it measures 8 3/4" from the back of the mount to the front edge of the injector port for runner two.

Patrick,
How are you controlling your boost?

Via the ECU Michael. For some reason we were seeing very high duty cycle from the wastegate. So we're going to make a couple of changes and see what that does. Probably going to modify the Xover a little too.

Patrick,
Have you checked your datalogs to see what boost pressure the ecu MAP sensor was reading and how that compares to the dyno reading?

No Scott. I don't have them to hand. What are you thinking to compare?

Well, for what it's worth, I was thinking that probably the simplest explanation for what you're seeing would be a MAP sensor that is reading too high (this could be a faulty sensor or it could be incorrectly calibrated within the MoTeC).

If the MAP sensor is reading too high, this would show up when comparing your ECU datalogs to the actual dyno readings - eg, if the dyno was showing 22PSI but your ECU was seeing 25PSI.

If they all correlate precisely, I'd next be looking at how you set up boost control within the MoTeC and any other sensor input that is associated with that setup.

Of course that's possible, but even if the read was 'off' the fact that it refused to climb any higher is still a question. I'd be confidant that the tuner looked at this when on the dyno and would have seen any difference between those two reads, but always worth making sure.

The new person that has suggested modifying the 'gate is confident that we'll see considerable change. We will make that change and see what it shows. Easy to do.

Actually, I think because of our prior mention of sensor cap, I may have misinterpreted the above statement to apply to the actual wastegate itself rather than the actuator which is now what I think you meant.

Yes, probably should try one of those Sensor caps too.
