Default Need Euro washer tank.

Anyone have a contact to purchase an Euro washer tank for my meth kit? They are MUCH larger than the stock units, and haven't had luck with Google.

Thanks!

George

Contact Ben. He is great at getting euro parts(being in the UK helps). He arranged for shipping to get me a euro front bumper cover.

Fair warning, I'm fairly certain step one of the 944 assembly instructions said "Place windshield washer tank on jig and assemble car around it". They're a bear to remove and replace.

Hope you track one down for you meth problem

You guys are saying it would be easier to design a tank that goes in the stock location vs installing the larger Euro washer tank unit?

When I'm back in town I'll make a few measurements, have Snow send me some pictures, then make a choice.

Thanks,

George

It's doable, I think it's just annoying that something so seemingly simple is such a hassle. It's an odd shape that conforms to every nook and cranny so doesn't just pull straight out.

Definitely a lot of trial and error, head scratching, and WTF's involved. At least you'll only need to install it, I pulled mine b/c it was leaking so got to share the joy both coming out and going back in.

There is not such a thing as "euro washer tank". Washer tank is bigger also in US models if car was equipped with the headlight washer system. My US spec 1988 951 has headlight washers and also that bigger washer tank. Son's 1987 951 is sold originally in Switzerland and has not headlight washers. His car also came with that smaller washer tank.
Removing/installing washer tank (also big one) is rather easy from bottom.

Yes there is. Actually it is ROW as 87+ ROW cars had big new style tanks and no headlight washing system. Headlight pump hole was also blocked off.
