Anyone know what wheels are on Sami951's car? I've seen one pic of it and it's the most gorgeous 951 I've ever seen.

Hey, I just sorted by "view" and this thread is on top. Does that mean this is the most viewed thread ever? What do I win?

Bii,

What year is your car (early or late offset?) and what width are your rims?

Thanks

They're Mak (=TSW) Force's 8x18" and 9x18", ET49, with GoodYear Eagle F1 rubber (225/40r18, 255/35r18).

Unfortunately, the 2-piece 18" turbo wheels are very heavy. Considerably more than stock C2Ts. I ended up going with 17" stock C2Ts in 7.5" fronts/9" rears. They were optional on the 1992 968 (same year my car was sold), stock on the 928GTS.

Since tires are the most important part of a car, it's awesome that so many of you have upgraded the wheels & tires. I went to the 18" O.Z. Nitto Nodular's for upgrading the caliper size and (poor, emotional choice) I've always loved they're appearance. Even though they're 3 pipece, they are not light. If I were to track the car, BBS (like many of you have posted) are hard to beat for strength and weight. Buyers remorse, but I love the look. I also like the look of the phone dials. They remind me of the Countach's wheels.
