Default Intake and exhaust valve sizes ????

Who knows the sizes of the stock 951 intake and exhaust valves?

Nobody here knows the dimensions of the stock 951 valves???

I think it's 45mm intake, 40mm exhaust.

EDIT: I have heard the Turbo S valves are larger in DIA, but it might refer to the stem. Any detail on that?

So that's non turbo S = 45mm intake & 40mm exhaust.

Do you have the specs for the turbo S sizes..

Tony ; my book makes no distinction between the 220 hp and the 250 hp . ( turbo-turbo s). in 88. I will check the pet #'s in a min for you. The t s were only 87-88 if I am right.

This is interesting because I have a head from a race engine wich is 2.85 liters. It's got all the trick stuff done to it, and the guy spent a ton of money to build it.

The head has exhaust guides like I've never seen before, and the intake guides are real short and barely protrude into the intake ports. Also, the valve spring retainers are unlike I've seen before (at least on one of these engines.

The measurements for the valves (taken installed in the head... so they might be a "hair off" are:

Intake: 46.0mm
Exhaust: 40.9mm

The turbo s was only 88 and the 89 on have the same specs.

Tom ;my pet says my 87 but that does'nt surprise me that they sold it in 88. Correct me if I am wrong ,but there was an 89 n/a 2.7, turbo 2.5 and an S2 3.0l. Did they classify the 89 turbo as an s

No, but the Turbo S -88 and Turbo -89-91 have the same engine code: M44/52.
