every time i get a new parts car as many of you know is a running car, what differs me from the other guys is the fact that I buy perfectly running cars and part them out, although that trend is going change in the near future, prizes for low miles unmolested 951's have been skyrocketing and running fair condition 951's are averaging 5-8k. Well I do love these cars you wont see typical dismantler doing stuff like this. I recently bought a supposedly parts car in Texas, but when I was doing the last glory run, every car that ends up in larts porsche parts has a last glory run from top moded 89 Turbo S's to stock 86's they all had a last glory run that's when 54 year lart revives the early glory of the lartmobile #1 a beast back in day. Last glory run is when the car either chooses glory or shame, if it blows is shame if it passes is glory, well i got this humble 86 951 from Texas here is the link;

https://rennlist.com/forums/944-turb...bo-3000-a.html

the car in question is running 11psi something is definitely wrong either the analog boost gauge is faulty or the engine has some internal mods. Spencer was there with me all day yesterday doing a cam tower seal replacement and he was able to attest that there no way this car is the typical 2.5L k26-6.

Current mods are
LR maf
72# injectors
dual port wastegate
Piggyback
Catch can
AFPR
LR 3" exhaust no cat

Now that a new lartmobile # 3 has been found, I have been working in removing weigh so far this was removed;

rear hatch lexan hatch installed
nose panel removed new fiberglass was installed
rear bumper removed new fiberglass 4lbs bumper installed
rear valance removed fiberglass valance installed
Rear seat top part removed
Hatch oem carpet replaced with a light weight custom carpet
Momo steering wheel

Next parts I have in my inventory that I will install;
Front 89 turbo M030 konis will be installed
Front 26.8mm and rear 18mm will be installed
GT bucket lights will be installed
ac deleted
front wiper delete

Lart, how did you do the bodywork on the right rear quarter panel dent? Pound it out/bondo, splice on a new section of metal quarter panel, or what?

I have a friend who is a pro body shop he actually pushed from the inside and used a hammer and wood to get it straight

what happened to that other sweet 944T ride you were driving and posting about 2 years ago w/ like 410whp?

how many drivers do you keep around?

or is everything more or less on a wheel of tinkering/sorting/running-hard/parting?
