Default Back in a 951 with pictures!

I bought this car from a buddy here in Atlanta about a month ago. I've been having fun fixing a few little issues here and there and driving it! I removed the hardwired old school radar detector, removed the brake dust guards, replaced the hood shocks, replaced the driver's drooping sunvisor, replaced the odometer gear, replaced the dash trim around the clock, replaced the rear wiper motor, replaced the front speakers, replaced the passenger door lock actuator arm, bought new floor mats and replaced the driver's side door sill. I've got another hatch I'm planning on installing and I might install some better carpet in the rear from the last parts car I had.

Nice! Are you gonna save this one? Do you have any experience with repairing that panel that is damaged on the rear?

Sport seats and Fuchs, well played!

The wheels may be worth as much as the car, have you priced those things lately?

Nice Josh! Too bad it looks like someone with an orbital buffer didn't know what they were doing. Paint can be fixed, stupidity....not so much

Is it just me or are others finding themselves with a growing affinity for cars like this one with lots of patina but are still great drivers?

They seem to be going for about $1250 I think.

Gotta love that!

I think the turbo is due for a rebuilt - still pulls strong but there is a lot of oil out the tailpipe. The acceleration isn't as smooth as it could be - I'm going to try a spare AFM.

With the exception of the dash that interior looks GREAT.

Very jealous of the sport seats and LSD!

Looks great! Nice enough to drive, not too nice to drive hard.
