Default KONI Yellow Strut Inserts

I have the struts (KONI yellow inserts) off my 1986 944 Turbo for a spring swap and notice that one rebounds in something like 30 seconds whereas the other takes a day. The inserts are less than a year old and have maybe 4,000 kms on them. My understanding is that the slow insert has lost it's gas charge. Is this normal? Warranty? Don't worry about it?

Thanks for the feedback.

Are they adjusted the same? The adjustability is rebound only.

definately make sure the slow one is not adjusted to full stiff. turn the adjustment on the top make them both full soft.. check again.. if the latter is still not coming back.. it's defective

Thanks for the responses guys. Yes I did check the adjustment on each strut and both were one from full stiff.
