Default What size fitting for turbo water cooling

I just need to order some bits to hook up new turbo and am hoping someone can tell me what size barb to get for the hose that goes to water pump(for turbo) and back to coolant reservoir ? I have found 8mm/ 5/16ths but not sure if this too big as obviously needs to be same ID as hose fittings at other end
TIA

Maybe I havent asked question correct way as somebody has to know size.
When fitting the Vitesse stage 2 turbo, the standard water tree fitting won't work as turbo housing gets in the way. You can bend the tree to get around this but Pauly has suggested a neater option, where I use a part he has given me, that basically replaces the tree. I need to get some metric fittings to go into this piece but these will have to have hoses fitted, that go to the expansion tank and turbo water pump. I need to know what size barbs I should use to make sure hoses that come from turbo water pump and expansion tank fit. Does any body know what size barb these should be to fit the factory hoses ?
TIA
