Default What to do? Collecting parts for my new to build engine

I have a 1986 951. Car runs and drives fine but the car is an oilaholic..

Want to use this year to gather all parts and build the engine next year.

Engine has scoring what is the reason for the oil usage i guess


In its current condition the car made 300 rwhp on the dyno.

Following mods:

Megasquirt ems
Techedge afr
Bosch ev14 injectors 750cc
2.75" downpipe
3" exhaust from the bottleneck downpipe... I know..
Tial 44mm wastegate
Forge 008 divertervalve
Broadfoot turbo. T04 26/6 hybrid as listed. Made a bad start but works ok now.



Here is what i have:
3l crank
Stock 944 turbo head
Stock camtower



What will i need to get a nice driveable car with 350-400bhp?

Plan to use darton sleeves
Chevy smal block pistons

Love the hybrid turbo threads. That is my inspiration source

Turbo may be way to small.


I'd just use straight sleeves.

With the typical Bolt on stuff, you'll have a great3.1 driver.

This is the turbo


These are the specs;

Rebuilt Garrett T3/T04E/K26 Hybrid Turbocharger.

Specifications:
T04E compressor housing
Compressor inlet is 3.0"
Compressor outlet is 2"
Compressor A/R is .50
Compressor wheel is a .57 trim
CHRA is a T3 water cooled
Exhaust turbine housing is a custom modified K26 #6
Exhaust turbine wheel is a stage III
All rebuild parts are new Garrett including new turbine wheel.

It should be able to give 350-375 hp?

But changing the turbo would be an option.

I'd say you'll be pushing that turbo to make the power your after.the compressor will barely keep up and the turbine wheel is too small.
