It's interesting to read the comments on this thread.

It's clear that there is quite a bit of misunderstanding going on here.

1. The 60-1 name refers to the compressor, not the turbine.

2. Compressors do not generate back pressure. The turbine does. The exhaust runs though the turbine, not the compressor.

3. If you want the turbo to spool up faster, use a smaller and/or tighter turbine.

4. If you want more top end power, then you'll have to loosen up/enlarge the turbine to reduce back pressure.

5. To properly select a compressor, you need to plot your engine setup against a specific turbo compressor map. If you don't know how to do this, then you should read up on it. It's not complicated. The most difficult part is finding the various compressor maps.

Read and understand this (not complicated) and you'll understand how to pick the correct compressor for your application:
