Real BBS wheels will be marked with BBS logo - almost always on face of wheel along with size and offset. Another giveaway would be are they really two piece or are those fake bolt heads? Those center caps look just like the replicas a lot of people were buying/using a few years back (black with gold crest). Very good deal if real but they don't look like it to me...also are they square or staggered? A lot of the replicas were square 8.5's IIRC.

As I already stated the wheels do not have BBS badging on them. They are not presented as BBS.

I'll snap a picture of the back area. Maybe someone can identify the manufacturer with certainty.

Wheels are 8.5x18 and 10x18. I know they are not BBS, but no idea of the manufacturer.

So are you saying if they are not BBS then they must be replicas?

I got these as part of a package deal. Been sitting on the shelf for years.

Lmao why are you so angry? I was just saying what I know. Don't take it to heart. I am actually surprised that you didn't know. You have very good records from what I recall.

$1200 looks like a great price to me. BBS would be much more expensive.

Pity you didn't finish that 2.5L 16v project John. I was close to trying that head on a 2.5L block and see what we could come up with. I reckon someone should buy your motor and pistons and go for it!

If they're TUV approved, I wouldn't worry about it being a rep or something.

It's probably a german brand,

If they're TUV approved, means you're allowed to use them on the roads in Germany as they've past their testing.

I am familiar with a 2.6L 16V, based on the 944S engine. It made lots of HP at fairly low boost, much more than the 8V engine. A good possibility I may end up building the 2.5l 16V. I just need to finish my other projects first.
