Torsion tube differences
Are all torsion tubes for 85/2 cars identical? I recently purchased tube from '86 non-turbo car, it looks identical to my Turbo S tube when laid next to each other. I just spotted that they have different numbers - can they be changed over? PET lists 2 different numbers for pre 87 and all later cars however I cannot find any differences.

Unless you are talking about torsion tubes. Sorry, when I see TT I always think about torque tube... So in other words they should be the same despite different numbers?

Sorry.. I thought indeed you were talking about the Torque Tubes..
Torsion bars (how i normally call them) or just rear axles are generallly the same with the difference in the installed springs. I'm assuming that the difference in springs give the torsionbars the different numbers!
