Aim Dash and Smarty cam. Uses GPS also ties in nicely to the Motec.

We use Motec system but you buy them in components. So you can run the dash independantly of their ECU's. Not sure what the dash costs in Euros though Markus? What are you building?

Hahaaa

YES, blast from the past

As we all know I did sell my old Porsche some years ago, and some parts are still used in Gustavs awesome time-attack car. As Porsche community is the friendliest I though I will ask advice here, I mean ive got ALOT info here during my 944 turbo buld etc.

At the moment i do not own any Porsche model since I promised myself that my next Porsche will be Air-Cooled and turbocharged (cant afford it just yet). It might be confusing but in my first post was meant to be as a sample how to write it down so it is easy to follow what any of us using.

have to tell you this. In Estonia, Time Attack is starting to kick in. Ive shown your sick car as an example to people here and Im still pretty damn proud that I had an opportunity to be in this car (before the complete makeover) WOW what a machine.

I use Harry's Lap Timer, and am planning to buy an external GPS box before the first track day this year (this one: http://gps.dualav.com/explore-by-product/xgps160/)

I merge the data from there with output from Rogue Tuning's Logger, and put it together overlaid on my GoPro footage with RaceRender.

Nice to see you back around here Markus. Are you building a T.A. car? What base, JDM or Porsche or ??

Actually you went in my previous car but some of it made it's way onto this current car. :-)

Those with the Dual xgps160, how did you mount the unit in your car? That dash pad thing certainly won't pass tech.

Has anyone used the VBox Sport?

Current setup(on s2000):
Harry's + flashpro(Honda OBDII interface) + GoPro + RaceRender

Helloo

Hahaaa nice to know that ive been actually in 2 Porsches that have made its way to TIME ATTACK as you know some parts of my ex-car ended up on Gustavs awsome built .

I currently have an R33GTR with HKS Step 2 engine (currently rebuilded due to engine failure). 2 years ago we got our only but brand new racetrack http://www.auto24ring.ee/eng so it makes sense to own racecars here..
