Thanks for taking the time to do this. You are very good at explaining the workings as always with your videos. Previously I only had a vague understanding of the gearbox workings, now I have a much better appreciation. Thanks again.
Ps You're not a teacher are you?

That was a wonderful video. I'm always impressed with the great shape of the internal components of our cars after all the years and miles. I appreciate the build quality even more after watching your videos!
Well done and thank you for sharing and educating us. If you ever compile them all on a DVD for purchase, please put me down for one.

Seeing everything laid out like that is sort of intimidating for someone like me who hasn't ventured into rebuilding a trans. I'd love to see an instructional video of how to put it all back together. Thanks for sharing.

Very nicely done, sir.
As someone who explains the inner workings of their Porsche/BMW to customers on a daily basis and writes Porsche tech articles for a living, I can appreciate the challenge of this undertaking. Manual gearboxes are not incredibly complicated in the grand scheme of things, yet few people outside of the professional realm have taken them apart and truly understand their inner workings, likely due to the amount of specialized tools/equipment involved. Porsche transmissions require more special tools than do most of their engines (at least with the earlier cars), or at the very least someone with the knowledge/fab skills to make tools or improvise.
Nice job laying out the components in the logical sequence; short of this you would have needed a 928 gearbox with its removable "access panel" to show how things are laid out.
