Default Name this constant 12v connection

Hey folks, up and under the driver footwell in my 89 is a constant 12v connection, unused. It is right beside the bright green wire loop. Any idea what this is? I want to get an EBC on its own circuit, and this may be perfect if its isolated - I could run through a relay and activate it with radio power. Else I will just run new cable from the battery.

You can always trace it from the wiring diagram:

Van, cool video. How do you back into finding an unplugged, spaded pare of wires?

Well, for your wire, you're going to have to go by color, where the connector is, and what harness it might be connected to.

It might be easier to connect your volt meter, then pull one fuse at a time (and then put it back) and see which fuse that wire is on.

I'm on the same page as your thinking - just pulled fuse 39 (radio booster) and that is the one.

So it's for a factory installed Amp unit. Interesting, didn't know that!

Yep - but I found that the fuse is on the same circuit as the constant power to my radio as well (from the harness in center console). Want to totally isolate the EBC.

After Van's refresher, looks like I can use spare fuse location 25, and relay G8 (Saudi Arabia), which are both unwired, wire them up, and have a good solution.
