Lart is single-handedly driving the values of our 951s up by keeping the good ones on the road and lowering the supply.

If you believe Hagerty valuation... It indicates prices are indeed on the rise.

Geico paid out 12.5 for my Black 88 951S back in October of 2011 after an engie fire. I kept the car and made repairs. According to Hagerty that was the correct price then and it has gone up since. Click the link to see for yourselves...

in may of 12 when my 87 got back into by a uhual progressive totalled her out. they cut me a check for 14.3 fixed up the body for 3 and built my budget engine. might have an accident on the car fax but she looks good and goes better. but if you look at all of the classic porsches they are all going up in value. Not that I'm complaining of course

Well, nice! I have a gorgeous Guards Red 87 with less than 75K on the clock. Perfect black interior (even the dash), some light performance mods, absolutely trouble free: I turn the key, it starts, I drive it.

I guess now it's just a matter of waiting for it to cross prices with a used Cayman!

Excellent news. I have been going back and forth on selling my near perfect 56k mile '88 Turbo.....but I may just hang onto it.
