Default Guru Vs. SFR MAP kits

I'm curious what the difference is between the two kits. I know that SFR does not include the filter with their kit, but what other differences are there?

Tim,

What's the price for a MAP box and a filter that fits into the J-boot? And do you have it in stock? Would I need anything else or would this do the trick for me?

The reason I'm asking is because I'm considering jumping off the Guru band wagon... I've just been waiting way too long now.

Thanks,

Justin

Guru gives you Guru's chips, while the speedforce kit gives you Turbo Tim's chips(correct me if I'm wrong tim). Also, Tim has the carbon fiber intake instead of the steel one that Guru uses. On the flip side of that, the Guru kit is cheaper.

I'm trying to sell the car as a whole. I've got a couple of people interested, but if I don't hear back from them shortly, I will probably sell the mods and unload the car in the local newspaper.

I'm not sure of the price. I've got the Stage 2 kit, as well as the programmer. What's it going for on Guru's site these days?

The GURU MAP kits include an air-temp sensor. Please refer back to the ARC-2 tuning issues on MAF-sensors for the past couple of years to see what effect an air-temp sensor has on cold starts. We also include a 3-bar FPR, stainless wastegate shims, and a ReliaBoost controller on our MAP kits (no boost-controller on MAP-2).

To sweeten the pot on Matt's MAP-2 kit, I'll swap out his J-pipe for a new one so you'll, in effect, be getting a new MAP2 kit. I'll also update the chips to match whatever configraution you have in your car.
