Default Another AVC-R question

I finshed putting the thing in yesterday with the Lindsey wastegate. Thanks to all who helped me figure it out. I would describe the process as relatively simple but with a large pain in the a$$ factor.

I have a question though. Should the unit / display be on all the time, even with the ignition off. I thought that was how it was supposed to be wired so that's how I did it. Perhaps the power should be come on with the ignition???

The avc-r manual is quite vague and I can't locate an off switch for the display. Is there one?

No, you need to wire it to ignition on power.

I don't think you can turn it off.

Maybe the stereo's ignition switched lead. Depends on how much the avc-r pulls. Can't be that much though.
