Default fuel vapor purge valve leak

I found a big leak when pressure testing my intake. Air is leaking through the line that goes form the j-boot to the plastic diaphragm valve (for the fuel vapor system). I can't tell where it's going after that but if I clamp off that line it stops. When it's leaking it buzzes loudly. I also tested the small connection on the top of the diaphragm for the vacuum line from the thermo valve - it doesn't hold vacuum or pressure. So I presume this valve is shot? What problems does this typically cause? I have a few idle/driveability problems I'm tracking down and I wonder if this could be contributing.

I had the same issue. When I pressurized the intake I would hear a buzzing sound. I believe it means there is a ruptured diaphragm. I just deleted the whole shebang, but I don't have emissions testing.
