Default WTB: Factory 944 Roof Rack

I am desperately seeking a factory OEM 944 roof rack. If anyone has one or has a lead on one please PM me.

Way back when I bought the Yakima rack and it was great
In fact I used it to put two racing wheels/tires on the roof so I could drive to the track with my reg tires
Is there a reason why you want a factory one ?

I have one, but I don't want to sell it. If you need any info or p/ns off of it, let me know.

Mine is different - the rear rack uses the 4 socket-head bolts in the jamb of the hatch.

It's buried in my attic, but when I bring it out I'll take pictures.

The Thule one and the Yakima one attached to the rain gutters. That being said i don't trust those flimsy rain gutters. I bent both while trying to remove them. Given i will only be mounting my racing road bike which only weighs 13.9 pounds, i still don't trust it given what wind does to a bike and while traveling at high speeds. Porsche doesn't mount the rear part of the rack directly to the gutter and its for a reason. I myself i am looking for a roof rack.

A fellow 914-er uses this on his 914 and 911. Said he's driven over 100mph with a mountainbike attached with zero problems. https://www.seasucker.com/product-category/bike-racks/
His handle is "Ferg" on 914world.com if you want to contact him.

I havent used that yak rack in over 20 yrs.....
but being the **** nut-job I am, I can tell you it never made a mark nor did it move and that was the weight of 2 racing wheels and tires driven from VA to the Glen and back....
But ... to each his own .... I wish you luck in your search for the holy grail

I'm a fan of Yakima, I've had their rack for 2 different cars and both were simple and fit perfectly. The one for the Audi was a Q tower, which I think is the same one the 944 would use (just with different clips). It left no marks on the paint or the door seal.

I have a set , just dug them out of my basement, were in a OEM box but the cats destroyed it using it as a clawing post. They are in great shape... just have to figure out what they are worth.
