Question Surface treatment to the block?
So I have this brand new beautiful block. Should I coat it with two component laquer to keep the lustre?

Nope, you should give it to me!

Heat proof engine paint (dunno if you can get clear stuff?) will do it.

MOst if not all clears will Yellow over time...... If you can paint it will a silver paint you may be better of in the long run.
